I think what I&amp;rsquo;ve been looking for is algorithmicx.sty, since it provides &amp;ldquo;procedure&amp;rdquo; and &amp;ldquo;function&amp;rdquo; blocks. newalg.sty looks good too.&lt;/p&gt;
