Ooof, that was rough. Blogger underwent many migrations since I used it last, and whatever migration tooling people have come up with in the intervening years, all are now broken, unsurprisingly. After much Gemini poking, back-and-forth, we arrived at this, which “works” (reads atom.feed):

However, it seems newest versions of the googlecl tool come pre-built. The only issue was I was missing MSVCRT71.dll file. This can be obtained for Windows 7 here:

In fact, many of the other posts are quite interesting as well on that blog. Definitely a blog I’ll be keeping an eye on, I find a lot of the author’s observations to be quite penetrating and mirroring my own experience and half-baked thoughts.
